We can hardly believe it ourselves, but the month of May has finally arrived, and with it, our one year anniversary.
That’s right, The Region Magazine has been live for an entire year!
It’s been an incredible journey and we are so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish as a small but mighty independent magazine. Thank you to anyone who has ever visited The Region; we are, and continue to be, overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from readers across the country (and around the world!!) over the past twelve moths. We hope that you’ve enjoyed reading The Region as much as we’ve enjoyed producing it.
With that being said, we are also announcing the end of The Region Magazine. Our one year anniversary issue will also be our last.
The Region has been an incredible platform for sharing our collective love of Canadian culture and showcasing local talent through the stories we covered by the names featured on our masthead. It’s bittersweet to close this chapter in our lives, but we’ve decided it’s time to move on. And while we will no longer be posting, TheRegion.ca and our respective social media accounts will remain live (until the internet dies), so feel free to continue to browse through our past issues.
Canada, thanks for being such a cool place to call home. We couldn’t have asked for a better muse!
